SMS/RCS Messaging Policy

NexgenTec LLC ("NexgenTec," "we," "us," or "our") uses SMS (Short Message Service) and RCS (Rich Communication Services) messaging to communicate with customers and prospective customers who contact us first. We do not send unsolicited messages. All messaging conversations are initiated by you — when you text us, submit a request, or ask for support, we respond via text.

How Messaging Works

Our text messaging is conversational and user-initiated. You start the conversation, and we reply. Common ways you may initiate a messaging exchange with NexgenTec include:

  • Texting our business number directly to ask a question or request support
  • Submitting a contact or service request form on our website that includes your mobile number
  • Requesting text-based updates on an open support ticket or service appointment
  • Replying to a message in an existing conversation you started

By initiating a text conversation with us, you consent to receive replies and follow-up messages related to your inquiry. We will not add you to any marketing or bulk messaging list as a result of contacting us.

Types of Messages

All messages we send are in direct response to your requests or related to services you have engaged us for:

  • Conversational Replies: Direct responses to questions or requests you send us via text
  • Support Updates: Status updates on support tickets or service requests you have opened
  • Appointment Coordination: Confirmations, scheduling, and follow-ups for service visits you have requested
  • Service Follow-Ups: Post-service check-ins related to work you asked us to perform

We do not send promotional blasts, marketing campaigns, or unsolicited offers via text message.

Message Frequency

Message frequency depends entirely on your interactions with us. If you text us a question, we reply. If you have an active support ticket, you may receive a few updates until the issue is resolved. There is no fixed schedule or recurring cadence — messaging volume is driven by your needs.

Opt-Out Instructions

You can stop receiving text messages from us at any time by:

  • Replying STOP: Text STOP to any message from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been opted out.
  • Letting Us Know: Call us at (352) 224-3866 or email support@nexgentec.com and we will stop messaging your number.

After opting out, we will not send further text messages to your number. If you contact us again by text in the future, that will be treated as a new conversation initiated by you.

Costs and Carrier Disclaimer

Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier's standard messaging rates apply to messages you send to and receive from us. NexgenTec does not charge for text messages, but your carrier may based on your mobile plan.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your wireless carrier and device. NexgenTec is not responsible for messages not received due to carrier issues, device incompatibility, or other factors outside our control.

Supported carriers include, but are not limited to, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and other major U.S. carriers.

Privacy

Your phone number and messaging data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may use service providers to help deliver text messages, but only as necessary to operate our messaging capability and subject to confidentiality obligations.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Messaging Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy
  • Post the revised policy on this page
